About

My Name is Adel Zaki

Who am I?

Does it matter for my visitor to see every minute detail of my profile?

The answer to this question may take several lines or multiple pages as I see myself and what I have done with my personal view of a lifetime.

I tried to be more objective. I did not write such a short comment to appear "as witness’s graves" (title, name, and date of birth, and it does not end at this time on a date of death). And not to be so long and tedious and stacked with much information. In my opinion, it does not matter a visitor who usually wants a quick overview of the profile.

For all of that, I canceled a large part of my scientific profile, both in medical research published in scientific journals starting from the early eighties. Also, I removed my membership in scientific and medical associations inside and outside my country. My educational activity for students and doctors, as well as, the treatment and studying of patients in the Cardiology Department at the University of Cairo.

You will also notice two main icons, one connected to a scientific, academic journal "Heart Mirror Journal." I was its Editor-in-chief, and it was published and printed for four years, and unfortunately stopped for failing to provide a stable financial resource for its care and growth.

Our team published a simplified animated medical application titled “Heart attack,” in three languages; Arabic, English, and Spanish to answer ten questions about the meaning and what to do if suffering chest pain!

The second icon “ECG-simple,” is an animated book for medical students and doctors to understand the logarithms of ECG, with around 50 practical training quizzes.

We discovered that our applications although accepted on both "Google Play & App Store," they did not appear worldwide and only distributed by them to small areas. We stopped them and considered our failure is related to our short sight of the international system and not to the quality of our work.

The other icons link to both "Google Play & App Store." It is an application of non-medical heritage books called "My Arabic eBook." I participated in its establishment and growth since I wanted to see the Arabic heritage books in an attractive easy to use e-book format. However, unfortunately, after about five years we decided to stop it for many reasons. The utmost of it was a financial reason, where the price of any Arabic eBook was either free or not more than 2 to $3.

For the time being, we published our books on “Apple iBook” under “My Arabic Ebook” publisher.

On surfing my page, you will also find some separate scientific articles, which I think is interesting for non-medical visitors, and a few Internet links to books or apps that were my suggestion.

These apps and websites were the ultimate efforts of many of my friends and colleagues. They dedicated themselves to work with me. I consider them as my family with all my love and appreciation. I would like to acknowledge my dear colleague programmer/Marwa Sayed, and colleagues ex-programmer Mrs/ Hala El Kholi and Miss/ Maha Abdel-Hakim, Mrs./Heba Abdulkadir, and designer /Mohamed Nasr, Mahmoud Badr, Shady Abdou, Ahmed Khalifa, and many of those who worked in this field and raised my astonishment and my love for this type of modern technology.

Finally, I am happy to communicate with you through my page (www.Adel-Zaki.com). We may agree or disagree with some points or ideas, and for me, to feel at the end that my page is not as witness’s graves.
